gam® and INOVA Blood Donor Services Partner To Answer "The Challenge." E-mail

CollageThe Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Blood Challenge was developed to build awareness around the vital need for blood donation on the campuses of all 12 CAA institutions.  INOVA Blood Donor Services (IBDS) partnered with George Mason University (GMU) to serve as the local blood service center of choice for this year's challenge.

Having developed a marketing plan to promote the event, IBDS chose, gam®- graphics and marketing, as their cause marketing partner to develop attention grabbing creative that would rally the GMU community around this all-important, lifesaving event. 

Working with IBDS and recognizing GMU's vivid color palette and brand equity in the community, gam® produced an integrated "Take The Challenge" campaign consisting of:

- oversized direct mail pieces,
- flyers,
- chair drop cards,
- interactive banner ads,
- and custom hand-dyed shirts.

The result?  A second place finish producing 806 donated units, a new record for GMU and IBDS (609 units were donated last year), and a happy client:
